Responsible Play
The gaming room is one optional part of the lodge. Here is how we run it, and where to find help if it stops being enjoyable.
Age verification
Entry is limited to people aged eighteen or over, or the legal age where they live if that is higher. Photographic identification is checked on every single visit, including for guests who have stayed with us for years. Nobody under eighteen is admitted for any reason.
What we will not do
- Take wagers, deposits, or payments of any kind through this website.
- Suggest that anyone can expect to win, or publish odds, systems, or strategies.
- Offer credit, lend money, or hold funds on behalf of a guest.
- Run a loyalty scheme, or let time at a table change what a room costs.
- Direct any promotion at people under eighteen.
Limits and self-exclusion
Ask us to bar you from the room and it happens immediately, for the rest of your stay or for every future stay. No explanation is needed and nothing is noted on your bill. We will also hold an agreed sum in the office safe and return it in the morning rather than that evening.
Worth watching for. Playing longer than you intended. Going back to win losses back. Borrowing in order to continue. Hiding time or money from the people you came with. Feeling relief rather than pleasure when you stop.
Where to get help
Free and confidential help exists in every country where gambling is legal. Search for your national gambling helpline, or ask at the desk and we will find the number without mentioning it to anybody else. These services cost nothing and report to no one, including us.
Gambling is a form of entertainment that costs money. It is not a way of making it. Decide what you are content to lose, decide when you will stop, and keep both promises.
