The walk down
Leave by the lower gate, follow the ridge road to the second bend, and take the steps by the old pump house. Eleven minutes down, closer to eighteen back up. Lit as far as the second bend and no further, so take a torch.
What we will tell you
Which kitchens serve after ten, when the market runs, which nights are busy, and where the taxis actually wait. We sell no tickets and take no commission from anywhere in Kalten.
Getting back
The shuttle runs to the lower gate until 00:20. After that it is the steps or a car from the bridge. Tell the desk if you expect to be late and the path lights will stay on.
Carry photographic identification if you intend to enter licensed floors in the valley. Door staff check every time and we cannot vouch anybody in.
